My website, built by my wonderful husband, (whose arm is around me in my picture:)) is new & still getting some tweaking so please bare with me:)
My name is Sally Velasco, I'm 45 years old & live in Idaho with my husband & family of dogs & cats.
I am a self taught acrylic brushwork artist & fluid artist.

I wanna be clear, there is NO AI anywhere at all in my artwork or pictures.

I found my love for painting in early 2020, shortly before Covid.
I started out brush painting from a picture reference, eventually looking up some tutorials, but that is mainly the extent of any guidance.
I continued on with traditional brush painting, painted off & on when I could for a few years & discovered not only that I loved it but also felt I had a knack for it.
Later down the road, I came across a reel that turned me on to fluid art. I was not sure how i felt about it @ first, but eventually became intrigued. I gave it a try late 2024 & kept going. But I still loved doing traditional brushwork. So now I do both:) I love both forms equally & could never choose between them! My only regret is that I didn't start painting sooner:)

I'm not the fastest brushwork artist, but I do take great care & attention with my pieces. I also spend time detailing & embellishing & doing touch ups on my fluid art pieces. I love adding my own touches & details to my fluid work:)

I am so pleased to have my site up & am very excited to offer original pieces, as well as prints & trinkets (Bracelets, various bottle stoppers, phone charms & key chains) I have made from fluid art drippings.
I'm so grateful for the support of my husband as well as all of my family for their support & confidence in me on this venture. (also for my pets when i inevitably spill paint😆)
